This week we are talking about the empowerment of Clove essential oil which is the oil of boundaries.

Clove’s aromatic features: Very spicy, warm, woody with a sub-note of leather

Clove’s benefits:

Gina’s favorite use: Toothache…. Peppermint, Clove, On-Guard, Cayenne Pepper. Toothache GONE!!

Janet’s favorite use: I use in a rollerball with frankincense, lemongrass, myrrh, geranium and clove for thyroid support.

Clove Libations of the day:

GG’s Boozy Yogi Tea


8-10 whole green cardamom pods, cracked

8-10 whole black peppercorns

2-3 cinnamon sticks.

Zest of 1 orange (or orange peel with pith removed)

2 slices peeled fresh ginger (1/2-inch thick)

4-5 drops doTERRA Clove essential oil

1/2 gallon organic apple cider or low-sulfide red wine

Combine all ingredients in a large pot and simmer for 20-40 minutes.

If it's not sweet enough for you, add 1/2 cup sugar. You may add additional doTERRA essential oils such as, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, and wild orange to taste.

Janet’s Hot Buttered Yum


1 drop doTERRA clove essential oil

1 drop doTERRA cassia essential oil

1 drop doTERRA ginger essential oil

1 Tbs Dark brown sugar

1 shot Vanilla syrup

1 Tbs Butter

2 shots Dark rum

Top off mug with hot water and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
